This place was an excellent spot to relax, with its amazing location near the beach and incredibly friendly staff that made the experience even better.

The stuff are outstandingly accommodating and kind.

Our room was clean, also it had a private safe, air conditioning, and a seating area. The food was APPETISING - lots of options. Good location - a short walk to everywhere we needed.

The room is nicely decorated and has its own safe and private entrance. 🛡️ They offer a wide variety of delicious food for breakfast. the hotel is right next to the beach, and the staff, including the restaurant staff, are super friendly.

The hotel had a perfect view of the garden, the double room was cozy with a comfortable bed, and there were convenient amenities like climate control, a private safe, and a sitting area.

I had an amazing stay at Maisha Matamu Beach Hotel. the staff, including Jessica and Charles, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Happiness, one of the staff members, took excellent care of us. the hotel is situated right on the beautiful beach, and the location couldn't have been better. the food at the hotel was delicious, and the breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip in Zanzibar. I loved the rustic room we stayed in, and falling asleep to the sound of the sea waves was a dream come true. I highly recommend Maisha Matamu and would definitely come back. Cons: Nothing, all excellent. 👌.

Great location right on the beach with easy access to the center and food court. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Special shoutout to Jumma, the assistant manager, who went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Plus, the hotel organized a fantastic birthday party for me, complete with cake, champagne, and a special dance. It was a truly memorable experience!

There were a few downsides to our stay. The room we stayed in lacked some basic amenities like a water boiler, fridge, and coffee/tea facilities, which are often provided by hotels in the same price range.
